Alright, since I am quite free now shall update on the day 2 of APLYC 8. But before that I shall update on today.
Woke up early in the morning at 7 and stone on my bed for half an hour before falling back into sleep again and woke up at 8 again. Brought the kid to stanford primary school to collect his and his sister books for next year. I feel like a father, bringing one shorty to pri school carrying along a trolley and an umbrella (I was tall compared to him ok..haha). After which, went to Parkway to meet my Da Jie, giving her A math tuition. I swear... I became rusty already! I was like taking a damn long time just to solve one bloody bionomial theorem but still manage to do most of the sums. Anyway, Soo Lik came to join us for lunch before we go roller blading. Haha! I swear, Soo Lik was like another person! He was like super brave in front of my Da jie. Asking things like "what is your name?", "How tall are you?" God.. if i was him, I would just kept quiet all the way. Haha! Shou wei, Ren Bu Ke Mao Xiang-Desmond Lin. Well Roller blading was kinda fun watching Eduoard, Nigel and James Tan tryng their best to rollerblade but i guess they learn much faster than me. But anyway, we went parkway after that to shop for stuffs. Kenneth just talked to me.. he became emo.. saying i never ask him along. Haha! Well thats all for today.
Sorry da jie! I cannot buy you the eggs. (By the way, i swear.. you look super cute when you say "Ji Dan") haha.
APLYC 8 (day 2):
Day 2 began quite early for sect shop. I went down to open the Shamrock Cove. Went around the classrooms to open them so that the country sharing can proceed on as plan. Uncle Xian Yi was super impressed and shocked that Richard and I already opened the doors. Yup! We faced the four walls and the computers whole day long until after Lunch, some of us set off for PAC at SJI to have rehearsals for our Heritage Play. Well, it was kinda fun and all that. Cheryl came but I was not wearing Specs so i could not see her and did not have a chance to catch up with her. But anyway, soon the seats were filling up the theatre and it was really really nervous for me.. I was having butterflies in my stomach but when it came to my turn.. I was really giving my best shot. It was really a success for all of us. Most of the delegates were damn impressed. Here is one of the conversation that i had with one of them.
Delegate: Hello!
Edmund: Hey! So how you feel about the play?
Delegate: Oh.. It was good.. really good.. I am really touched and impressed.
Edmund: oh.. haha (face turning red-I don't knw but I can feel my face burning)
Delegate: So.. how long have you all been rehearsing?
Edmund: erm.. around 9 days?
Delegate: 9 days?!?! that is pretty short!
Edmund: Yeah.
Well what can i say? Singapore OT is the best. I mean I can't believe it myself also. A bunch of Post O level students and A level students with some sec 2s and sec 3s are organising a camp! It was a great success also. I can't believe it myself! But anyway, that was the end of day 2 ending with supper and short reflection.
