Alright! Guess that i do not have enough time to post much about LLTC this year. But i shall try to post on day 0 and day 1 first.
Day 0:
It is the prep day, the facils gathered at around noon to complete all the stuffs necessary for the next day. Games Comm was busy trying to fill up 1500 water bags for the mass games in the camp. Haha! We have quite a fun time playing with each other. Throwing water bags and using lame excuses such as, "oh.. sorry.. i was just testing it out.." and "opps.. sorry.. i guess i squeeze the bag too hard" haha. In the end everyone got wet. Especially me.. who got drenched head to toe since all facils targeted me.. I can't believe they actually went to lift me up and threw me into the pail of water, wetting my shorts.. and threw me into the pail of water again head first.. Have to use even one of my camp clothes to change, otherwise i will get a cold. We were having quite a nice time.. until that matthew han have to tell me there are 2 girls in my group! and one of them is named, "clara". Eugene and the rest were like giving me nightmares! I swear.. here is their conversation with me:
Matthew: Hey edmund, i saw the name! it is clara. OMG! i can't believe she is in your group!
Edmund: HUH? who the heck is that? what is with that shocked expression?
Eugene: Haha! You got clara! hahahaha! you know her thigh? It is bigger than your face you know..
Edmund: (unbelievable expression)yeah right...
Eugene: serious! You don't believe you can check out on your own tomorrow. But don't worry.. she is not fat.. she is just muscular.. haha
Edmund: (having the thought of ricardo seah with long hair, mini skirt arrhhhh!!!!)
Eugene: Haha! good luck man! During the "walk the talk" she can carry you on her shoulder and walk.
Everyone: (laughing)
Edmund: omg...
Haha! I am not that prejudiced against fat people since i used to be one.. but the way they described it.. really makes me scared.. especially i am considered one of the smallest and shortest facil... haha. But anyway, we ended our meeting at 7 plus with some of us calling up our groups.. I did not intend to call at all since my battery is almost flat.. But i thought that the girls might be sleeping early.. so.. I decided to call the 2 of them first.. and the sounded not too bad..(quite a sweet voice) and a few facils have to scare me buy saying "although the voice is sweet.. but you know.. grrr....
Day 1:
We arrived at SJI at around 7 to prepare our stuffs.. Got everything ready by 7.40 plus, and up comes the participants. I was really quite embarrased when I saw the 5 girls walking in. I mean.. I am always shy and all that..(cough) But anyway, the girls were the first in my group and they were actually standing behind me whispering something about me.. thinking I cannot hear them. haha! But anyway, did all the admin stuffs and played some icebreakers. Was really happy to see my group participating enthusiastically. We then carry on with our "walk the talk" haha! Can't believe it was my 3rd time doing it. The girls were like whining the whole way and the guys keeping quiet most of the time. That is why.. the boys only finished 1/4 or half of their bottle of water while the girls finished everything! Haha! Well at least the philosophy of Eugene did not come true.
This is theory:
The guys will be walking at the back and saying all the vularities "@#$ %$ %$# %$#@ @# $#@! the walk so long!
The girls will be in front bitching about their group members or worst, ME!!!
Haha, Cheryl dropped the egg halfway through the journey while trying to snatch the camp manual from me and proclaiming that her name is Kristine. Haha! It was really funny to watch the 2 girls quarreling with one another over an egg. haha! But anyway, I just decided to trick them abit by saying 10 mins and 10 mins over and over again. They actually believed me.. haha. But anyway, we got back to school just in time for lunch and they have their lectures and I have to accompany them. Left them alone at around 3pm to set up the games stations and got Mr Lak to clear band who were distracting the lectures. But anyway, we have our games and make a bet with david of 5 MILO PEHN! and i won the bet since my group defeated him with a score of "6-2"!!! haha! My group totally thrash him! haha! But anyway, we have showers next, with clavin, dickson and me clearing up the place and throwing the remaining water bombs at each other. We have dinner and it is night reflection and sleeping time.
